Lift pass information and pricing
To use the lifts and get access to the wonderful white sea of the Grand Massif, you need to purchase a ski pass. You can choose from "Ski Pass Massif" or "Ski Pass Grand Massif" in Samoens or the "Ski Pass Flaine".This is the daddy of Ski passes! You have access to all 78 lifts and 256km of pistes across Grand Massif: Samoens, Morillon, Les Carroz, Sixt AND Flaine as well as Combes de Vernant, Les Grand Vans, an adrenalin-filled snowpark and 2 cool zones (play areas). The Grand Massif Ski Pass allows you to experience the amazing panoramic views at Tete des Saix, Les Grand Vans, Les Grandes Platieres, Les Dents Blanche, Les Aravis and not forgetting Mont Blanc. WINTER 2011-2012 DATES
Here are the official opening dates for the Grand Massif during this winter:
FLAINE : from 10th December 2011 to 22nd April 2012
LES CARROZ : from 17th December 2011 to 15th April 2012. Opening of a few ski lifts from 16th to 22nd April 2012
MORILLON : from 17th December 2011 to 15th April 2012. Opening of a few ski lifts from 16th to 22nd April 2012
SAMOENS : from 17th December 2011 to 15th April 2012. Opening of a few ski lifts from 16th to 22nd April 2012
SIXT FER A CHEVAL : from 17th December 2011 to 11th March 2012.
SKIPASS GRAND MASSIF (265 km of pistes) : FLAINE - LES CARROZ - MORILLON - SAMOENS - SIXT

This gives you access to 59 ski lifts within the red line on the above map. There are 140km of pistes to explore taking you across Samoens, Morillon, Les Carroz and Sixt...The SkiPass Massif allows you access to the Combes de Vernant, Les Grand Vans, one adrenalin-filled snowpark, 2 play areas. SKIPASS FLAINE (140 km of pistes)
Skipass Flaine allows you access to 140km of piste in Flaine with 63 runs (50 of them blue and red runs!) and 27 lifts. The Grandes Platieres cable car takes you from 1600 to 2500m in 12 short minutes, giving you access to bar, restaurant...and the magnificent views over Mont Blanc. Tips:
There are free car parks at the Grand Massif Express; Saix and Vercland.
Remember that there is a 3Euro deposit for each ski card.
Towards the end of season, there is limited access to certain areas. It is always worth checking before deciding which pass to purchase.
